Playing poker on max855 gives you access to a wide range of tables with varying bet limits – from micro-stakes tables as low as RM0.10/RM0.20 all the way up to high-stakes tables that can go up to RM500/RM1,000 per hand. Whether you're a newcomer just looking to get started or an experienced veteran seeking a bigger challenge, max855 has you covered.
Why Is Texas Hold'em So Popular in Malaysia?
Among all the poker variants available on max855, Texas Hold'em remains the top choice for Malaysian players. Its straightforward rules make it accessible to newcomers, yet its strategic depth continues to challenge even the most seasoned veterans.
In Texas Hold'em, each player receives two private cards (hole cards) and shares five community cards placed in the middle of the table. The objective is straightforward – build the best poker hand from your cards combined with the community cards, or convince the other players to fold before the showdown. What makes the game truly compelling is the bluffing element – the skill of making your opponents believe you hold a stronger or weaker hand than you actually do.
At max855, Texas Hold'em tables are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can play on your smartphone, tablet, or computer with no additional software to download – all you need is a standard web browser.
How to Play Omaha on max855
Omaha is often considered a more complex variant than Texas Hold'em – and that's precisely what makes it so appealing to players looking to sharpen their skills further. In Omaha, each player receives four private cards and must use exactly two of them, combined with exactly three of the five community cards, to build the best hand.
The Omaha Hi-Lo variant available on max855 adds an exciting strategic layer – the pot is split between the highest and the lowest qualifying hand. This means you can win from two directions at once, opening up more diverse opportunities to take home a prize.
